The workshop addresses innovative retrofitting activities in the three projects, with a focus on energy reduction, enhancement of energy efficiency and affordable solutions for retrofitting of public buildings. Main topics include sharing experience along the building phases with a view to technical challenges and user involvement, best practice in the different approaches of the projects, replication potential, as well as risks and opportunities for SMEs. A special part of the workshop deals with the challenge of training building managers and users. Expected outcomes of the workshop are related to potential energy and cost savings for local authorities, promising technologies for future market implementation or replication of methodologies.
