Charlotte Schlicke, from partner Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum and in charge of BRICKER’s exploitation and replication activities, will be participating in the SET Plan Conference 2014. SET refers to the EU’s Strategic Energy Technologies plan designed to provide guidance about those technologies that can be expected to have greatest impact in the transformation of the energy system.
The 2014 conference will take place over two days gathering some 500 stakeholders from across Europe. Debate will focus on the EU’s key energy policy targets for 2030 – sustainability, competitiveness and security of supply; and the roadmap toward them. The main topics addressed include “building a new energy system for Europe”, “macro-regional approaches” and “challenges of the energy system: the SET-Plan integrated roadmap”.
