Beyond being only a Research, Development and Implementation Center, CEEE aims to have significant contributions to the country and the world. Thus, the primary focus of CEEE is the attempt to be in harmony with nature. Along this line, CEEE aspires to develop solutions and strategies to avoid the negative impacts of climate change to our surroundings. This is only possible with a participative approach by all interested parties, not necessarily only from Istanbul and Turkey, or from the rest of the World.

We consider living in harmony with the nature and the development of the strategies to overcome the negative impact of the climate change on our surroundings as the meaningful objectives for all of our activities. We realize, however, solutions to these two objectives, which are shown in the middle of the spiral, may not exist at all. Rather, comprehensive strategies need to be developed with the involvement of many others from all walks of life to understand them and then to develop real engineering and business solutions to tangible problems in order to have long lasting impact. All these areas are supported by external funding and carried out in cooperation with different academicians, researchers, professionals and students, who are closely working with Drs. M. P. Mengüç and/or P. Özuyar.
