Rank® is specialised in power recovery from low grade heat sources (T>85ºC). It uses innovative equipment based on Organic Rankine Cycles (ORC) and other advanced technologies such as transcritical cycles and variations of power cycles activated with low temperature (Goswami, Kalina).

Since the year 2000, Rank® has been developing projects and studies in power generation and efficiency. This has included developing equipment to generate power from thermal sources taken as residuals because of its low temperature (>85ºC).

Today Rank® is a partner of: Enterprise Europe Network, ACCINNE (Alliance for Science and Innovation in Energy, GEOPLAT (Spanish Technological platform in Geothermal), and Spanish Platform for Energy Efficiency.
